– Police checks
Industry standards state that all employees must have regular police checks done. You will need to present your current Police Check Certificate when you begin Vocational Placement and when you begin employment. Most employers now will only accept a Police Check if it was issued within the last 3 months. We will submit the Police Check for you as a part of your Certificate III course.

– QLD Blue Card
The majority of employers will require you to present a QLD Blue Card before they agree to Host you for Vocational Placement. We will submit the application on your behalf.

Vocational Placement
As part of your course you will need to complete 120 hours of vocational placement. This gives you the opportunity to put the theory into practice, and experience what a career in Aged Care actually looks like. During Vocational Placement we ensure you are supported and taught by experienced team members who work with us to ensure you succeed.

We arrange placement for you! We factor in your location, transport issues, availability and MATCH you with an employer who will Host you for your Placement. This is your chance to SHINE, show them how professional you are and your Host will help you kick start your career.

Course Content
