Overview

The Certificate IV in Community Services is a great qualification for those who already have some experience in the sector and who are keen work either autonomously or as a team leader.  This qualification will assist you in your next career step.  Graduates of this program may find themselves applying to roles such as:

While there are no requirements for entry into the Certificate IV in Community Services, if you do not already hold a we recommend that you apply for the QLD Blue Card (working with Children Check) our team can guide you with this process.

The course units have been chosen with input from employers to ensure you cover the material which is most relevant for employment. The Certificate IV course includes 15 units of which 7 are core units. The remaining 8 are selected to ensure you get a positive response from potential employers.

Qualifications can be completed via a combination of self-paced and study group. The duration will vary dependent on the delivery style and training plan negotiated for each student.

Where relevant assessment of competency may involve recognition of prior learning or credit transfer if prior skills or certification is held.
