The Certificate IV in Youth Work is design for those who work with young people in a wide range of community service settings. Graduates of this program may find themselves suitable for employment in roles such as:

Horizon2 currently only delivers the Certificate IV in Youth Work under a Traineeship Model. Therefore, in order to enrol, candidates will need to be employed in a suitable role and be registered for a Traineeship in QLD. The following units have been chosen with input from employers to ensure you cover the material which is most relevant for employment. The Certificate IV course includes 18 units of which 14 are core units in addition to 4 elective units.

Qualifications can be completed via a combination of self-paced and study groups conducted in the workplace.
Where relevant assessment of competency may involve recognition of prior learning or credit transfer if prior skills or certification is held.
